Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MixScout ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and all referenced policies, including:

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MixScout is a SaaS platform that enables music professionals to:

  • Discover artist information
  • Organize prospects
  • Manage outreach workflows
  • Track notes and engagement activity

MixScout does not send communications to artists nor act as an intermediary between users and artists.

3. Account Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain account security
  • Be responsible for all activity under their account

MixScout is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.

4. Acceptable Use

Users may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Harass, spam, or impersonate others
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform
  • Use data for automated mass outreach

5. Third-Party Data & Links

The Service may display information derived from third-party sources and public profiles. MixScout:

  • Does not control third-party content
  • Does not guarantee accuracy
  • Is not responsible for external platforms

External links are accessed at user discretion.

6. Subscription & Billing

Users may subscribe to MixScout through recurring subscription plans processed by Paddle, our authorized payment provider.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:

  • Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) until canceled.
  • Free trials, if offered, will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled before the trial ends.
  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent future billing but does not retroactively refund previously charged subscription fees.

7. Refunds

Payments for MixScout are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record.

If you are a consumer, you may be eligible to request a refund within 14 days of the transaction date, in accordance with Paddle's buyer terms.

Refund requests must be submitted directly to Paddle using the link provided in your purchase receipt or by visiting: https://paddle.net

If a refund is approved, Paddle will process the reimbursement using the original payment method.

For subscription services, cancellation prevents future billing but does not retroactively refund previously billed subscription periods.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform software, UI, and design elements are owned by MixScout. Users retain ownership of their notes and workspace content.

9. Limitation of Liability

MixScout is provided "as-is". We are not liable for:

  • Business outcomes
  • Lost opportunities
  • Third-party interactions
  • Data inaccuracies
  • User conduct

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations. Users may cancel anytime.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
